Dear Brothers and Sisters,
This Sunday is Father’s Day!
- Our Coffee Hour ministry team is planning some additional treats for dads (and everyone!) so please plan to join us at 10:00 a.m.
- During both worship services we will acknowledge the fathers present. Pr. Roland will bring the Father’s Day message, “Fathers Who Watch and Know” (1 Timothy 4:16).
- Infant/Child Dedication: We will be blessed to witness this special event during the 11:15 service. Sheldon & Leslie Eng will dedicate Connor, Greg & Nancy Nakamura will dedicate Alex, and Ken & Grace Shauk will dedicate Summer. Please pray for God’s grace and blessing to be upon these families.
- Pray for God’s grace to be upon all the dads in our church. They have been entrusted with an incredible responsibility to raise their sons and daughters in the ways of the Lord. Pray also for God’s comfort upon those who have lost their dads, husbands, brothers, as the absence of these loved ones is all the more acute on these special days.
- Thank You for your support at the udon luncheon last Sunday and for your donations towards our Chino short-term missions. A special thank you to our Nichigo brothers and sisters who prepared and hosted the delicious lunch. If God moves you to contribute additionally, please contact the church office.
- VBS Registration continues Sunday. Come sign up! We’d love to have your kids (ages “Mommy & Me” through 6th grade) for Vacation Bible School July 26 – 30, from 9:00 – noon. The kids will learn about joining forces with God in this year’s “Hero Headquarters!” Invite your friends and neighbors to this week of fun filled Bible teachings!
