Save the Date: On Saturday, June 9th, A Family Movie Night will be held at church at 7 pm. The featured film will be “Courageous” which is an action-packed and uplifting story of four police officers as they face challenges on the street and in tackling the responsibilities of fatherhood. This will be an outreach event, so invite your friends, family and neighbors.

Thank you to all who prepared food and served during the special Resurrection Coffee Hour last Sunday. Everything was delicious! Thank you, too, to the KV staff and helpers for the wonderful lesson on the Easter story, reinforced with resurrection eggs. You made the Easter story come to life! Thanks, too, to everyone who provided eggs for the children’s Easter Egg Hunt. We appreciate all of you.

JEMS received an unusually high number of requests from Nikkei churches in South America for summer workers and find themselves approximately three teams (12 people) short of fulfilling these ministry opportunities. Our prayers and deepest condolences to Sadako Olinger and the Olinger family upon the passing of Sadako’s dear husband and our beloved brother in Christ, Ottis Olinger. We are greatly saddened, but are grateful that through faith in Jesus we will see Ottis again in heaven.  Please remember Sadako and family in your prayers. A memorial service for Ottis will be this Saturday, March 17, 3:30 p.m. at our church. Our church will host a refreshment reception immediately following the service. If you are able to bring finger foods and/or assist with set up/clean up, please leave word at the church office.
Thanks to Cora Sagara and the Thursday Ladies’s Koinonia group for putting on the Women’s Spring Breakfast. It was a great time of fellowship, outreach and learning how to live intentionally!
